Open your ears, shut your mouth

Sometimes being a good listerner is all there is. No need to interrupt on any conversation. That is one of the best way in avoiding conflicts. Unless if really want to trigger some arguments. Just listen and shut your mouth. Is it hard to do? For some people it is really hard for them to keep their mouth shut. So many things to talk about. Regardless of wether it is out of the topic or not. That is really annoying. Really annoying when we try to explain and they try to shut us down. Can’t you just listen and let the person talking finish whatever that they want to say. Don’t be too arrogant to take others advice. Do not be too proud to listen to what others saying, wether they are older or younger than you. Some people just have some enormous ego. But some people just really dumb enough to listen to others. As if others is insignificant to them.

Last night

My housemate is on holiday. So just me and my TV and astro decoder. So boring to watch astro nowadays. Nothing much to watch for an astro customer subscribes to basic package. Anyway, last night is USANA meeting night. So i went there for the meeting with my friend muda and his wife. The details in the meeting have been put into another blog. you can read it here.

 

GROUP HUMAN LEVITATION

EFFECT

A person becomes seemingly weightless and may be lifted from a chair on the index fingers of four smaller people.

Although various explanations have been proposed, this classic stunt continues to mystify and amuse.

STAGE 1

The person to be lifted ( choose a fairly heavy person ) should be relaxed but upright on a firm chair. Feet should be on the floor and hands on the lap.

The four assistants should stand two on each side, one by each shoulder and one by each knee.

Each assistant should make fists with both hands, then extend the two forefingers and touch them together, gently but firmly the two assistants standing by the shoulders, place their extended forefingers under the seated persons right & left armpit. The other two assistants place their forefinger under the seated persons left & right knee.

The person to be lifted thinks “down” and imagines him or herself to be sinking into the chair.

In this position, the four assistants should try to lift the person.

STAGE 2

The assistants should now place their palms on top of the seated persons knee or shoulder and together, exert a steady downwards force.

While they are doing this someone counts out loud from one to ten.

On the count of nine, the four assistants quickly take their former positions with extended forefingers under the armpit or knee.On the count of ten, they try again to lift the person. The seated person should think”up” and imagine himself or herself rising into the air.

If these instructions are followed carefully, the person will soar straight up into the air on the forefingers of the assistants.

This trick is very visual and can really entertain a crowd.

Cerita Sebenar Di Sebalik Projek Ternakan Babi Di Selangor

Terkejut beruk betul saya apabila mengikuti rancangan ulasan akhbar daripada TV1 RTM awal pagi tadi mengenai Projek Ternakan Babi di Selangor yang kononnya akan dilaksanakan tidak lama lagi. Pengulas berita dengan penuh aksi dan gaya telah memetik kenyataan EXCO PAS, Dr. Halimah Ali dengan menuduh yang bukan-bukan kepada PAS kerana menyokong projek berkenaan. PAS dianggap telah lupa perjuangan dan sanggup menjual agama kerana kepentingan politik. Malah pengulas “kuda kayu” ini tidak segan silu menasihatkan PAS bahawa daging babi adalah haram dimakan bersandarkan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an dan juga petikan kitab Injil. Selanjutnya beliau menfitnah PAS dengan menyatakan bahawa dengan projek ini kelak PAS akan membenarkan pula jualan daging babi di tepi-tepi jalan.

Apa punya kepala hotak mentaliti orang-orang RTM ini pun saya tak faham. Kita ingatkan apabila dah kalah pilihanraya dan dapat Menteri baru mereka akan berubah dan akan menjalankan tugas dengan lebih profesional. Tetapi harapan hanya tinggal harapan. Kalau dah UMNO tu tetap UMNO, dulu, kini dan selamanya. Perangai haprak mereka nampaknya tak kunjung reda sehingga rakyat usung mereka ramai-ramai dan buang ke dalam laut.

Berbalik kepada cerita ternakan babi tadi. Apa yang RTM sibuk sangat tentang ternakan babi? Bukankah selama ini pun terdapat ribuan babi di mana-mana di Malaysia. Lupakah mereka kepada isu babi di Negeri Sembilan dan Melaka dahulu yang bukan setakat melibatkan kaum Cina tetapi juga pimpinan UMNO di dalam mengaut keuntungan. Dan jangat kita lupa bagaimana pimpinan BN menyalahguna duit derma mangsa-mangsa penyakit bawaan babi (JE) untuk kepentingan mereka.

Perlu diingat bahawa negara kita terdiri daripada berbilang kaum dan agama, dan ada di kalangan rakyat yang makan daging babi. Justeru itu binatang ini perlu dipelihara bagi mendapatkan dagingnya. Ketika RTM asyik menghentam keromo PAS, perlu diingat bahawa ternakan babi terus berjalan tanpa ada usaha konkrit untuk mengawalnya daripada mencemar alam sekitar. Kita berterusan menghadapi pencemaran air yang akhirnya membawa bencana kepada umat Islam sendiri.

Saya kebetulan tahu benar tentang projek yang dimaksudkan oleh YB Teresa Kok dan YAB Menteri Besar Selangor. Ini kerana projek ini ditawarkan oleh syarikat kawan baik saya beberapa bulan yang lepas. Untuk makluman RTM, projek ini diluluskan oleh kerajaan Khir Toyo 2 minggu sebelum pembubaran parlimen. Walaupun saya orang kuat PAS, saya menyetujui projek yang dicadangkan oleh rakan saya ini kerana selepas menelitinya secara terperinci, saya dapati ia amat berguna di dalam menyelesaikan kemelut yang dihadapi oleh umat Islam yakni isu pencemaran air. Projek berteknologikan Jerman ini adalah satu sistem ternakan babi moden dan tertutup (closed system). Ini bermakna babi akan dipelihara di dalam tempat tertutup (lengkap dengan pendingin hawa) dan segala najis yang tercerna akan dikitar untuk pengeluaran gas (methane). Malah darah babi apabila disembelih pun akan menjadi sebahagian daripada kitaran ini. Lantas tidak akan wujud lagi sebarang pencemaran (zero-pollution) akibat ternakan babi selepas ini. Pihak Jabatan Haiwan dan juga pegawai-pegawai kerajaan lain telah membuat kajian mendalam mengenai kesesuaian projek ini termasuk membuat lawatan ke Jerman untuk melihat sendiri bagaimana keberkesanannya. Mereka begitu kagum dengan apa yang mereka lihat dan bersetuju melaksanakannya di Selangor, dan jika berjaya akan dikembangkan pula ke seluruh negara.

Seperkara lagi perlu disebutkan bahawa usaha ini adalah di bawah pembiayaan swasta. Kerajaan negeri hanya menyediakan tapak projek. Orang-orang bukan Islam perlukan daging babi sementara kita perlukan air yang bersih dan persekitaran yang nyaman. Bukankah projek ini satu kompromi yang amat hebat untuk rakyat negara ini?

Anak Bapa: RTM (Rupa Tak Malu) tak peduli itu semua kerana yang penting bagi mereka ialah melepaskan geram pada Pakatan Rakyat. Cerita benar atau palsu bukan ukuran penting bagi mereka. Kalau babi tu kita boleh maafkan sebab mereka dijadikan Allah tanpa akal, tetapi yang manusia kat RTM ini diberi akal tetapi masih tak mahu menggunakannya! Cuba anda fikir, mana lebih teruk?

Can you tell?

 Situation 1:

Imagine 4 people were put like the picture above. A wearing yellow hat and is sitting behind the wall and cannot see the other 3 people. B were sitting in front of the wall wearing red hat. C is wearing a yellow hat and D is wearing a red hat. All of them did not know what color is the hat that they are wearing. They were wearing their hats while they are blindfolded. They were regulated not to tell their friends the colors of their friends hat or asking them for theirs. They cannot turn their back. They can only look straight from the position of their sittings. What they only know is 4 of them are wearing 2 red hats and 2 yellow hats. Each of them were asked to determine what color are their own hat and gave a theory to strengthen their answers. A did not know what color is his hat. He also did not know each of the other 3 persons hat. B is in the same situation of A because he only can stare the wall. Whereas C can see what color of hat is B wearing. D can see both B & C hats. So, maybe he has a bigger chance on building a theory for his hat color or maybe not.

Situation 2:

A person will come to each one of them and ask them base on their situation, can they determine a theory of what colors of their hats are they wearing. Lets name him The Host. All four of them are able to hear each of the persons conversation between the host. The host will ask A. “Do you know what color of your hat?”. Of course A will answer no because he is sitting in front of the wall and cannot see the other 3 person. The host will ask B the same question. B will answer no also. The host then go to C & D asking the same question. But both of them asnwer no. After 5 minutes, the host ask four of them the same question again. But this time there is only one person have the answer. Can you tell which person is that and why? Common guys, put your answer in the comments below. Lets see who can answer this riddle.

Health comes first, wealth comes second

Everybody wants to be wealthy, having money to pay all the debts, mortgages and car. Going for the holiday to the place that you dream off. Go travel to the places that you never been before. Explore the world. Live a luxurious house and having maids to manage it. Is it worth it if working your ass off for years and have to spend and enjoy it for only a month or two. Many Malaysians nowadays if we realise or not mostly are fighting for their lives with the 8 serial killers. 8 degenerative deseases. Ranging from hypertension, breast cancer to heart attack. Last night I was introduced to a brand that not also improve our health but also to achieve wealth.

USANA. What is USANA? USANA is a direct selling company. Independent Associates distribute and sell scientifically based nutritional supplements and personal-care products. Last night I was introduce to USANA. The well known or they say the top network marketing brand in the market. USANA sells health products that are really good based on the testimonials given and based on the research and few awards that I haven’t heard off. Maybe because I was not aware of such awards.

It started with Muda. My old friend from SEMSAS(Sek. Men. Sultan Hj Ahmad Shah, Kuantan). He introduced me with this USANA brand and range of product. He even gave me his own testimonials and experience based on his sick wife and mother in law. After a long chat on YM(yahoo messenger), Muda wanted to see me at PJ. At Menara Axis. Where the USANA office is operating. So at around 8:30 I arrived there. Taro, another friend of mine and also a friend of Muda were waiting for me at the roadside. Then we were invited to go to one of the halls there to hear a talk about USANA.

I would not explain what are the details in the talk. But from what I have heard from the talk it had opened my eyes of how many Malaysians are in the midst of suffering with deseases. There are 8 main deseases that kill most of the Malaysians. A doctor presents few statistics that is very alarming. Every 1 of 5 womans have breast cancer, every 1200 children suffer from cancer every year and a lot more statistics that could make u fear for the life in this 21st century. To many deseases. It was expected that in ten years, 72% of Malaysians will suffer with cancer and cronic deseases.

I don’t want to be in the statistics and of course the same goes to my family and to the one who I love. This is where USANA plays a part on fighting with this kind of health problems. USANA have ranges of supplements that can feed our body cells so that our cells can withstand all the death threatening deseases.

I was attract and amaze by a testimonial of a woman in her 50s. She was one of the people who attended the talk. She was call upon to the stage to share her experience in using USANA health products. Before she was having athritis. She have to consume 200 miligrams of morphine just to move and walk. She said the pain was unbearable. She even used sticks to help her walk.
